St. Ann's Senior Secondary School Mutikulangara successfully completes twenty five year of existence. The journey embarked upon in 1999 is now into its 25" year. Sharing the vision of our founder, Rev. Fr. Wilhelm Meyer and responding to our mission of the Educational postulate - "to care for the whole person even when material values threaten to undermine the spiritual and religious values'" - this school was a dream envisaged by the Southern Province.

The school had a humble beginning in a shed by our enthusiastic pioneers Sr. Rubina, Sr Berthold and Sr. Sherin Sebastian. The school started on 174 June 1999 with 28 students. It was further nurtured by Sr. Blaise as the longest serving Principal. Sr.Metty Paul and Sr. Vijai Ann carried forward the flag of St. Ann's, Palakkad

The first batch of Class 10 with 24 students was sent out in the year 2008 and Class 12 in 2010. As the years rolled by the number of our students increased. We added a new wing to our building, the Wilhelm Block. St. Ann's spread out its wings and soared high. We now stand tall and proud in the sky of Palakkad. The school now boasts of an imposing strength of 1450 students and 86 teaching and non- teaching staff. Our students have been doing exceptionally well in various fields in different parts of the world.

We are filled with gratitude as we recognize the blessings showered upon us, with great visionaries, efficient administrators, sincere staff and talented students.

In our efforts to meet the challenging times St. Ann's has set the wheels of change into
motion. In accordance with the CBSE guidelines, activity based learning has been implemented and skill subjects are introduced from Class 6. In compliance with NEP 2020 students are categorized into four stages -Foundational, Preparatory, Middle and Secondary. As part of our service to society, fee concessions have been allowed to the needy. The management staff and students have been reaching out to old age homes, orphanages and destitute. The increased participation of parents and Alumni will indeed boost our efforts our dreams of an equitable, St. Ann's looks forward to cooperation from all in order to realize just and responsible society.
