Day 1 (18/11/19)

i. The day 1 activity “YOGA FOR ALL” was included in the morning assembly. Children did YOGA with utmost enthusiasm under the supervision of our YOGA master MrSudheer.

ii. Activities on “FITNESS AND NUTRITION FOR STUDENTS AND STAFF”.
The students and teachers of the respective classes brought sufficient fruits and other required materials to prepare fruit salad and vegetable salads. This session gave the knowledge about balanced diet, consumption of raw fruits, skills on cutting fruits, garnishing, serving and sharing among the students.

DAY 2 (19/11/19) (FREE HAND EXERCISE FOR ALL)

i. Free hand exercise were demonstrated by our physical instructors Mr.Appu and MrAkhil

ii. Mental fitness activities In the afternoon children were able to listen to a lecture given by Retd Prof.K.Ramakrishnan(M.P.Ed) on the topic “IMPORTANCE OF PHYSICAL AND MENTAL FITNESS”

DAY 3 (20/11/19)

i. “FITNSESS ASSESSMENT OF STUDENTS THROUGH KHELO INDIA APP

ii. Poster making competition on the topic “FIT BODY FIT MIND FIT ENVIRONMENT”

DAY 4 (21/11/19)

i. PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES FOR STUDENTS

ii. Essay /Poem writing on theme “FIT INDIA SCHOOL”

DAY 5 (22/11/19)

i. Fitness/sports QUIZ

DAY 6 (23/11/19)

Conclusion of the fitness week activities by conducting regional games for students, staff and parents
